Explore the myths we construct around ourselves and our notions of ‘the other’ by creating a sketchbook of ‘paper myths’. Working with collage, paper techniques, stencils, mixed media and other practical approaches, your finished sketchbook will be a visual documentation of your artistic process reflecting ideas developed around themes of the 'exotic' and 'alien'. This course includes visits to Gauguin exhibition and the collection. No technical knowledge is required. All levels of ability are welcome.
This course is ideal for those wishing to build a portfolio and learn new techniques.
